Located on the second floor of the Royal Canadian Legion at 134 Marion Street The Legion House Museum (also the museum of the Military History Society of Manitoba) depicts the history of Manitoba's military past from 1697 to today.
Gallery exhibits which have been started in 2007 include:
- The Battle of the Bay 1697; the French/Anglo Naval Battle and the Struggle for Fort Prince of Wales.
- 19th Century Manitoba; The Red River Expedition 1870, The growth of the Militia, The Northwest Canada Rebelloin 1885, The Nile Expedition 1884-85, The South Africa War 1899-1902.
- Manitoba pre-1914; The Growth of the Militia
- Camp Hughes; An Archaeological Site
- Remembrance Gallery; The Cost of War
- Manitoba in The Second World War; The RCAF in Manitoba, The RCN in Manitoba, The Army 1939-45.
Gallery Exhibits being planned to start in 2008 will be as follows:
- Manitoba Regiments Gallery
- Post War Gallery 1946-2000, Korea, Peacekeeping, NATO. First Persian Gulf War.
