History is More...

is the theme for the AMM’s 2010 Conference that will be taking place on October 1 & 2 along the scenic Winnipeg River in the lovely towns of Powerview-Pine Falls and St-Georges.

This year we’ll be getting our delegates thinking outside the museum box as we explore new and old technologies that will engage visitors and keep them coming back. We’ll also present ways other organizations are preserving and presenting our history.

These conferences are excellent opportunities for learning, sharing, and to connect with other people in the Manitoba museum community. If you’ve come to previous conferences you know their value. If you haven’t been to one yet, or haven’t participated for a few years, put aside October 1 & 2 and plan on being there.
